| Hemp, the fiber we specialize in, is of inherent high quality, consisting of anti-bacterial, anti-fungal properties, qualities of absorption and insulation as well as a durable nature. Hemp as a cloth has a comfortable, and flattering drape to it that sweetens with age. Our hemp is blended with other fibers including silk, organic cotton, yak down, and recycled pop bottles (HemPop)!
Our hemp is cultivated without the use of any synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides in China. The mills from which our Chinese fabrics are sourced have the latest health and safety systems in place. Mill workers have many of their living expenses paid for including: rent, education, day care, retirement programs, and medical. They are also paid wages. There is no child labor, forced labor, or overtaxed mill workers. We also work with U.S.A. made Organic cotton flannel and wool. Often times, we work with specialty hemp or wool fabrics, which are only available for a limited time, therefore you may notice our availability in certain fabrics to be limited, giving Circle Creations it's eclectic, unique look and feel. We dye the cloth in small batches using non-toxic, biodegradable, fiber reactive dyes to create an array of natural earth-inspired colors. While dyeing on a small scale, colors may vary slightly from dye batch to dye batch also giving our product that same uniqueness. We collect our textiles with a healthy environmental perspective. |
